Account Manager

A day in the life

Account Managers develop day-to-day client relationships and drive business through innovative thinking and a keen understanding of what makes excellent software products. They’re the link that connects our people to our clients—so facilitating communication between external clients and internal teams is essential. They know how to represent our ideas as strongly as they can represent our clients’ wishes, and at the end of the day, they lead their team to deliver an amazing, ground-breaking product. They build outside relationships, maintain overall account revenue health, help generate profit and keep our internal teams happy and productive. Our Account Managers have a comprehensive understanding of the web/mobile landscape and how emerging technologies can add value to our clients’ business, and still deliver amazing user experiences through the products we create.

Responsibilities

  • Send weekly updates on overall relationship, health of the account and incremental opportunities
  • Aid in QA/Testing/Reporting with QA team
  • Create Roadmap deliverables with Strategy, Product and Design teams
  • Drive timeline along with Product team to ensure goals are met
  • Identify KPIs for products (and drive consensus with stakeholders)
  • Identify new opportunities for the team on existing product engagement (features, platforms, etc)
  • Manage contract development and overall work with finance on billing process for account
  • Regular stakeholder meetings & Client visit prep
  • Set up team outings

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in the emerging software and technology space
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent skills in negotiation and conflict management. We need you to manage internal teams, partners and clients, to represent our ideas clearly and be confident in the products we show our clients
  • Keen understanding of how to leverage client relationships for introductions and additional business. Account Managers can identify the opportunity for new business and go for it with all they’ve got.
  • Team leadership and management experience in taking a digital product from concept to launch
  • Proven understanding of the full delivery cycle of digital products
  • Understanding of the basics of agile software development methodology
  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Enjoy communicating your ideas to identify and solve problems
  • Meet Business Development quotas set for assigned accounts
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
