Mobile-first eLearning apps for a medical journal

About Daily Rounds

Daily Rounds is a new type of medical journal that allows medical doctors and students to read clinical cases edited by top MDs for free.

Problem

Daily Rounds had an Android app, but they were getting complaints because the app was hard to use and some doctors didn’t have an Android device.

Solution

Daily Rounds selected CognitiveClouds because of our experience designing and developing medical apps and social networks. Our team redesigned and reengineered Daily Rounds’ Android app and created their first version iOS app. The native mobile apps we crafted enable MDs to test their knowledge of clinical cases by taking a quiz and obtaining a score based on correctly answered questions. Medical professionals can now continue their education by reviewing a new medical case each day.

Results

A few months after launching apps we built, Daily Rounds surpassed 200,000 downloads across iOS and Android devices.
